Challenges

EIUM was using an outdated and limited CMS on a declining platform, and they approached Startup Slang to facilitate the transition.

We identified four crucial aspects for the new site's creation:

  1. Migrate site contents from the old platform and rework the copy to better complement the modern design.
  2. Develop a clean and intuitive CMS that allows the team to make regular edits without relying on third parties for simple modifications.
  3. Provide a visual series of case studies and create two distinct libraries for Experiential and Out-of-Home case studies, showcasing the diversity of services EIUM offers.
  4. Implement a straightforward tech stack for data collection and analysis to review and optimize the site.

Through the discovery process, we collaborated closely with their team to strategize, design, and develop a modern version of their website.

Results & Insights

The new EIUM website offers a swift and elegant online portfolio for prospects and leads of the agency.

Eat It Up Media boasts an array of impressive projects, making it straightforward for clients to review and solidify their decision to partner with the agency for Out-of-Home or Experiential marketing campaigns. This clarity and showcase of social proof significantly streamline their RFP process and candidacy.

As a result, they've increased their close rate and now have a website that allows them to track usage and optimize on-site capabilities (SEO, additional content, etc.) easily and intuitively with the CMS developed by the team.

UI / UX

The plan was to create a bold, visual, and minimalist portfolio book for leads interested in delving deeper into EIUM.

We opted to let the photography and visuals from previous large clients speak for themselves and separated the case study library into two distinct sections, while also offering a compilation of everything, just in case.
